Knowledge Increases – June 23, 2022

Dear Readers,

God bless you; it’s been amazing lately. People are coming from all areas up to the Prayer Mountain to spend time in prayer and fasting. God’s doing something deep within the hearts of His people. Just as fast as we learn something, I must learn something new again. Like the phone, when I finally get one somewhat where I understand it, a new phone comes out and we must learn all over again.

I started a new Twitter account, please follow me @LuaunaDr. I’m just learning all this media stuff, boy what a task! It’s amazing how all these young people have all this stuff down. I’m even noticing little, tiny kids, with phones in their hands playing games and scrolling through the phone better than I can. I figured I better learn how to use all those avenues, so I can preach the gospel.

Someone told me Facebook was old, and just the old people use it. I thought to myself, “YOU’RE KIDDING!†I finally got it down, and now it’s OLD FASHIONED! (SMILE) Well, what can I say! I guess I better step it up a bit yaw think.

I am so glad one thing never changes, and that’s God’s WORD, He’s the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. I love to sit and read God’s Word every day, it’s like have a beautiful full course meal, it’s satisfying. No matter what you’re going through, God’s Word has the answer for whatever it is. People search and search for the treasures of life in everything else. But the true treasure for our lives is written right in the pages of God’s Word, Genesis all the way through the book of Revelation. So many ask me, “What’s going to happen to mankind?†I tell them open God’s Word and you’ll see right where mankind is headed. Those who have made Jesus their Lord and Savior need not fear. But to those who refuse God’s salvation plan, they better worry and fear! Their ending is terrible, you see after every man or woman dies, comes a judgment! One will either spend eternity with God, or eternity in hell.

Someone told me one day, “I don’t believe in a hell!†I told him, “There are no atheists in hell.†Did you know that Jesus spoke about hell all through the New Testament? Matthew 5:29; “If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.†II Peter 2:4; “For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;  and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked† 

You see knowledge will increase, and mankind may think they know more than God, but His Word never changes. Jesus remains the same. His love is always reaching out, “Come to Me all who are heavy laden, and I’ll give you rest.†Jesus came to give us life and life more abundant. Are you in need of the Savior in this fast-paced world? Stop and just ask Jesus into your heart, repent from your sin, and follow Him.
